(WTXL) - The National Weather Service says the capital city saw a tenth of an inch and some Georgia counties saw up to 2 inches of snow.

Leon County closed several ramps on interstate I-10 due to the slick roads.
Locals around the capital city say it's shocking and exciting to have a snow day in Florida.
Many set alarms and were up early anticipating the possibility of snow.
Once the sun came up, the snow started to melt and people were continuing normal routines just with extra layers on.
Snow in Florida is rare, but it's not unheard of and today, many of us were seeing it ourselves.
