GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Gadsden County School Board has been working on tearing down Carter-Parramore Academy in Quincy to make room for a new school, but that plan will have to wait.
The district did not receive state funding this year to replace the school.
Superintendent Milton says the district wants to replace it with a new elementary school.
According to a report filed with the state in January, the district had planned to close Carter-Parramore by the summer of 2021 if construction for a new school had been approved.
