TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL)-- Mayor Andrew Gillum was named one of the 14 Young Democrats to Watch by the New York Times.
The Op-Ed review chose Gillum along with 13 others for their work in generating excitement among the party, along with their background and their ability to take on a more prominent role.
The paper goes on to list Gillum as a stand out Democrat who thrived in politics at a young age.
In addition to the Mayor, Stacey Abrams the Georgia Minority Leader was also chosen along with Patrick Murphy, our State Representative.
