TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- The man who deputies say shot two people, killing one of them, at a spiritual camping event in the Apalachicola National Forest has been arrested.
Clark Mayers was in a Tallahassee hospital being treated for stab wounds for almost 14 days before he was able to be booked into jail.
Mayers was charged with First Degree Murder Tuesday and was booked into a Leon County Jail. He is expected to be taken back to Franklin County.
Deputies say that Mayers shot and killed Jacob Cardwell and injured Wesley Jones on March 5th.
According to the mother of Wesley Jones, her son is in the hospital fighting for his life.
