MARIANNA, Fla. (WTXL) - UPDATE: Shortly after 1:00 pm on March 19, 2017 Ja’Drian LaQuin Gilbert turned himself into the Marianna Police Department and was transported the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await his first court appearance.

Police are searching for the man they believe is behind a weekend shooting.
It happened on Old Cottondale Road around 10:30 Saturday morning. When they arrived on scene, police found Gregory Barnett Jr. lying dead in the front yard.
An arrest warrant has now been issued for Ja'drian Gilbert, 27. He's considered armed and dangerous.
