Man Indicted in Fatal Drunk Driving Crash

VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - A man has been indicted on vehicular homicide charges after a Lowndes County crash in which troopers said he killed two people in a head-on collision while drunk.

According to the Superior Court of Lowndes County, 35-year-old Jeremy Carter was indicted Friday following a February 25, 2015 crash. 

According to Georgia State Patrol, Carter was under the influence when his Ford truck hit a Mustang, while trying to pass a school bus.

Kyle Ryan Naville and Logan Paige Shelley were killed.

Carter was indicted on charges of homicide by vehicle in the first degree, driving under the influence (per se), driving under the influence (less safe)(alcohol), reckless driving, driving while license suspended and having an open container, court documents showed.
