Man found dead in South Tallahassee home identified

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The body found inside a Yaeger St. home Thursday has been identified as 25 year-old Dominique Myles.

Investigators are currently interviewing witnesses about the suspicious death while the home remains secured.

Tallahassee Police are asking the public for help in identifying the suspect. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call TPD at  (850) 891-4200 or CrimeStoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.


TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--Police are investigating a suspicious death on the south side of Tallahassee.

A family member called police to a home on Yaeger Street at 11:30 Thursday morning. When police got there they found a body inside.

This was the scene Thursday on Yaeger Street. Loved ones were inconsolable as investigators notified them of the person's death.

Crowds gathered at the home. The Tallahassee Police Department was on the scene all day with its homicide and forensic unit.

"I cannot make any actual statements whether it was foul play or not," said Officer David Northway with the Tallahassee Police Department. "We are investigating what we are considering a suspicious death which means we have not officially called it a homicide. We are not investigating it as natural death."

Police haven't released any identifying information about the person found dead, including age or even gender.

"We would really appreciate it anybody who has anything to come forward," said Officer Northway. "Our hearts and our thoughts go out to the family members at this time and we will have an update for you as soon as we can."
