TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Police said a man has died after his car went over a curb and smashed into a tree on Thursday morning.
The Tallahassee Police Department said that 65-year-old Gary Reeves was traveling on Thomasville Road near the intersection of Foxcroft Drive.
Witnesses told police that the car was traveling in the far right lane on the road when the car began to drift to the right. They said the car went over a curb and through a line of trees where hit a large tree and came to a stop.
Police said that it was around 8:30 a.m., when they were called to the scene.
Reeves was taken to the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital though they said that around 9:15 a.m., he was pronounced dead.
