TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee man has been arrested on 150 counts of possession of child pornography.

Robert Andrew Webb, 53, was booked into the Leon County Detention Center on Thursday.

The images were found in his home and most of them appear to be of children under age 10, according to a probable cause affidavit.

The specific charges are one count of transmission of child pornography and 150 counts of possession of child pornography with intent to promote.

The investigation that led to his arrest stems from a cybertip on March 20, 2017, that investigators received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

A subpoena to an Internet chat site resulted in investigators receiving records of visits they believe Webb made from November 3, 2016, to April 16, 2017.

When investigators visited Webb on July 7, 2017, Webb told them he was deaf. Through the reading of lips and written notes, Webb denied investigators permission to enter his home.

The investigators detained him in handcuffs and obtained a search warrant for the home, in which investigators seized a computer and other electronic items.
