FRANKLIN COUNTY, FL -- Deputies with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a man for pointing a rifle at a Leon County helicopter.
Clayton Weaver II is facing 5 counts of aggravated assault with a firearm.
FCSO says they received a call from the Leon County Sheriff’s Office asking them to be on the lookout for a red Ford Focus driven by Weaver.
Deputies were able to track Weaver’s cell phone and discovered he was heading south on Highway 65.
Weaver was stopped and arrested without incident.
