TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A man has been arrested by U.S. Marshals after being accused of breaking into multiple Tallahassee apartments to watch victims sleep.

On Friday, October 19, the Tallahassee Police Department responded to an apartment complex at Quantum on West Call at 446 Conradi Street about a burglary in progress.

The victims told police the suspect had entered their apartment and was watching them sleep. While on scene, another victim came forward and said an unknown man also came into her apartment and watched her sleep.

Police say surveillance video showed the suspect climbing over the balcony railing, entering one of the victim’s apartments, and later leaving through the front door.

The suspect was later identified as 28-year-old Edward James Weber.

On Monday, Weber was taken into custody by TPD Investigators and members of the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force.

He was then booked into the Leon County Detention Facility on three counts of burglary.
