VALDOSTA Ga.-- Investigators uncovered meth, prescription drugs, and stolen items in a search of a home on Oak Drive South.
Officers found Ashley Chafin, who was wanted for warrants related to a recent string of storage building burglaries in Dougherty County, on Monday afternoon.
Chafin, 26, was located at a Oak Drive South address along with 27-year-old Daniel Smith.
Chafin and Smith were arrested and taken to the Lowndes County Jail.
Sheriff Chris Prine commented saying "We will keep working with the other neighboring law enforcement agencies and hopefully return someone's property that was previously stolen." Sheriff Prine also stressed that investigators are continuing to examine evidence that may tie these the group to local burglaries and thefts.
