TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tallahassee Police Department has arrested a 51-year-old woman in connection to the murder of a man on Pecan Road nearly a year ago.

On Wednesday, TPD announced the arrest of Sherill Victoria Conner, 51, for accessory after the fact of first-degree homicide.

The man, who has not been publicly identified by police, was found shot to death in the 2700 block of Pecan Road on the morning of Jan. 13.

His body was found in an "outdoor location" in the area. In the months following his death, police released composite photos of the man and managed to identify him as well as contact his family.

"The investigation is still ongoing as TPD works to bring justice for the victim in this case," police said.

TPD’s Violent Crimes Unit anticipates additional arrests as the investigation progresses. Anyone with information is asked to contact TPD at 850-891-4200 or Crime Stoppers at 850-574-TIPS
