TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — An armed carjacking in Gadsden County Thursday morning turned into a massive manhunt that went into Georgia and back into Florida.

The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office says 18-year-old Deauhveon Seifuddin and 37-year-old Freddie Strong were captured and are now in custody.

Five agencies were working on this for hours Thursday morning and the suspects are facing several charges as they tried to avoid getting caught.

Authorities found the suspects' vehicle on Fairbanks Ferry Road, which crashed into a business.

The suspects took off from there, so law enforcement closed off Highway 12 for several hours while they looked for them.

We were there when paramedics were treating Freddie Strong, after K9s tracked him down.

The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office says they've been looking for him for a while.

"He had two active warrants, but he was just one of those that was kind of hard to capture or to catch, because we had an active warrant for him for aggravated battery and failure to appear as well as felony stalking," said Sgt. Anglie Hightower, Public Information Officer with the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office. "So, with those warrants, in addition to these new charges, he's going to be in jail a while."

The suspects carjacked a vendor truck at a store on Attapulgus Highway. They took that truck into Georgia, ditched it and got back in a getaway car.

Deputies spotted them and chased them into Florida.

The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office said it's possible there is a third suspect that hasn't been caught yet, but that hasn't been confirmed.
