TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A 32-year-old woman is dead after her pickup truck veered off I-10 westbound in Tallahassee and crashed into a tree.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 5 p.m. on Wednesday just past the Thomasville Road exit.
They said a 32-year-old woman from Zephyrhills was driving the pickup truck westbound on I-10, when her car went off road, drove up into the tree line and hit a tree with its front bumper.
She was transported to Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare where she later died.
FHP was assisted on scene by Leon County Fire and EMS.
