TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened sometime on Sunday in the area of Ridge Road.
The victim arrived at a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries sustained from a gunshot. Responding officers attempted to get more information from the victim regarding the shooting.
The victim said the shooting happened on Ridge Road. The victim would not provide much more detail about the incident and was uncooperative with responding officers.
This case has been assigned to investigators with TPD's Violent Crimes Unit. Investigators are asking anyone with information about this case to please call them at (850) 891-4200 or Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.
TPD was already investigating another early Sunday morning shooting at the Enclave Apartments on Stearns Street. That shooting sent a woman to the hospital in serious condition.
