TALLAHASSEE, Fla.(WTXL) — Tallahassee police are investigating after a 54-year-old man was killed while running near the intersection of Crawfordville Highway and Wilson Green Boulevard Monday night.
According to the Tallahassee Police Department, officers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Crawfordville Highway and Wilson Green Boulevard just before 8:30 p.m. on Monday.
Police say the vehicle was traveling south on Crawfordville Highway approaching the intersection with Wilson Green Boulevard when a man ran into the roadway and into the vehicle's path.
The driver of the vehicle was not able to avoid the collision which resulted in him hitting the pedestrian and fatally injuring him.
The deceased person has been identified as 54-year-old Robert Keahey.
Traffic Homicide Investigators are continuing to investigate this crash.
