(WTXL) — Thousands of people in South Georgia are currently without power, according to Georgia EMC.
According to their power outage map, more than 15,000 EMC customers are currently without power as of 6:52 a.m. on Monday.
A line of storms has been moving through the area since 3 a.m.
Law enforcement and emergency management officials in the area have reported numerous downed trees and power lines due to the storms.
