VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) — Valdosta City Schools announced on Tuesday that Thomas County Central canceled the Friday, October 2, varsity football game against the Valdosta Wildcats.
Information about ticket refunds will be available by Thursday, October 1 by clicking here and VCS social media outlets.
Additionally, Colquitt County has canceled the ninth grade and JV games against the Wildcats for Thursday, October 1.
At this time, there is no information on why Colquitt County High School canceled the games. Thomas County Central has several athletes out because of COVID-19. They do still plan on practicing with athletes who are able to, and hope to return to the field for game action on October 9th.
