TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Most of us have been spending more time preparing meals at home and a local chef wants to help you out with those culinary experiments.

Leon Brunson has a neuroscience degree from Florida State, but his true passion is in the kitchen.

Before the pandemic, he worked at Kool Beanz Cafe. For now, being a private chef pays the bills.

Brunson also has a huge appetite for teaching and he's sharing a dash of his expertise with free classes on Facebook.

"It's a great chance to get closer with your family, or with your spouse or significant other," said Brunson. "Cooking with somebody else or cooking as a family and eating and enjoying it, it feels good. It makes the heart warm. It will make your forget about it."

You can join chef Leon in his virtual kitchen on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. by clicking here. Pasta is on the menu.
