TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — He's bringing cheer to kids a few days before the "big day."
Soul Santa made a grand entrance to LeVerne Payne Community Center in Tallahassee on Friday, dropping out of a helicopter.
His mission is to make spirits bright this holiday, with a little flair.
This event, hosted by the City of Tallahassee's Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Affairs Department is a popular one every year.
Each kid is getting to not only meet Soul Santa, but a special gift from him as well. Parents say they are also grateful.
If you missed Friday's event, there's another one on Saturday.
It's from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Walker Ford Community Center on Pasco Street.
