TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A man has been arrested on child abuse charges after police found an infant unresponsive inside his home.
Ryan Robinson, 27, was arrested by the Tallahassee Police Department.
On Dec. 21, first responders responded to the area of 1500 Delaney Drive in reference to an unresponsive infant.
The infant was taken to a local hospital and remains in critical condition.
The investigation revealed that the injuries to the infant were consistent with inflicted child abuse. These same injuries were incompatible with the Robinson’s account of events.
After consultation with the State Attorney’s Office, probable cause was found to charge Robinson with aggravated child abuse with great bodily harm.
Robinson was taken into custody by TPD’ Violent Crimes Response Unit and taken to the Leon County Dentition Facility.
