Man killed in deadly crash on Mahan Drive, TPD investigating

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A 53-year-old man is dead after a crashing into two vehicles and a brick sign on Mahan Drive Sunday afternoon.

Just after 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Tallahassee Police responded to a three-vehicle crash in the 2400 block of Mahan Drive.

Police say the driver, who they say was at fault in the crash, was traveling east on Mahan Drive when he crashed into two other vehicles before striking a brick sign at 2450 Mahan Drive.

The at-fault driver was transported to a local hospital where he passed away from his injuries overnight. That driver has been identified as 53-year-old Stanley Price.

Police say one of the other drivers was taken to the hospital worth non-life-threatening injuries while the other driver was uninjured.

Traffic Homicide Investigators are continuing to investigate this crash. TPD is asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash, but did not speak with an officer on scene, or anyone with information about the accident to please call 850-891-4200 and ask to speak with the Traffic Homicide Unit.
