MARIANNA, Fla. — A man was killed after he fell through the roof of a building while conducting repairs in Marianna.
On Tuesday at about 2:49 p.m., the Marianna Police Department responded to 4178 Lafayette Street in reference to a report of a man down. When officers arrived on scene, they found a man who appeared to have fallen through the roof while conducting repairs to the building. Jackson County EMS pronounced the victim dead on scene.
The victim was taken to the District 14 Medical Examiner’s Office. At this time, police say no foul play is expected.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin. The investigation is currently ongoing.
