LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Florida Department of Health has confirmed nine cases of coronavirus in Leon County.

According to their latest report, the patient is a 19-year-old man who recently traveled to New York. It's unclear where the man went in New York before returning to Florida and testing positive.

Earlier this week, the Florida Department of Health in Leon County reported that they were expecting a 21-year-old woman to be listed under the county's confirmed cases. However, that woman was never listed under Leon County.

When we reached out to FDOH-Leon, they said that a more thorough investigation revealed then woman actually lived in Miami-Dade County.
