Leon County Schools sends message to parents about flu, Coronavirus

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Leon County Schools Assistant Superintendent, T. Alan Cox, sent all school employees and parents a statement regarding the spread of the flu and the Coronavirus.

"As you know," said Cox, "we are in the middle of a bad flu season. Also in the spotlight are worries about the spread of the Coronavirus. In the USA the flu is much more urgent with over 16,000 deaths so far. Universal precautions will help protect both adults and children for both of these viruses."
