TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Leon County Schools Board members approved a week-long Thanksgiving Break for the next two calendar years.
The board approved option number two giving students a week-long break for the Thanksgiving Holiday, 2021-2022, then 2022-2023.
Superintendent Rocky Hanna says these options were the overwhelming choice of the close to 4,500 stakeholders who participated in the District Calendar Survey.
