TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Godby High School students crowded into the courtyard between classes to help support the fight against breast cancer.

Members of student government sold cups of lemonade to raise money towards the cause.

This kicks off the beginning of October's breast cancer awareness month. Each glass sold for $1.

One student is very passionate when it comes to helping people fight against breast cancer.

"I support this because some people in my family have had breast cancer before and same with a lot of people here at the school have been affected by this," said Hannah Brown, student government member.

All of the proceeds from Thursday's event will go to Joanna Francis Living Well Foundation.
