(WTXL) — This weekend friends and family will come together to remember a former Florida A&M University student shot and killed by a deputy in Jacksonville.
22-year-old Jamee Johnson was killed during a traffic stop on Dec. 14.
The sheriff's office says it happened when deputies tried to arrest Johnson.
His celebration of life service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Hawthorne, Florida near Gainesville.
It'll be held at Trinity United Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation is Friday until 7 p.m. at Pinkney-Smith Funeral Home and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church.
He'll be buried in Gilgal Cemetery in Hawthorne.
