TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Florida State University Police Department said the suspect accused of following women around campus has turned himself in.
Vincent Steven Mickelsen turned himself into the Leon County Detention Facility. He is charged with Battery Touch or Strike stemming from a January 30 incident with a current FSU student near Landis Hall.
According to FSU PD, 36-year-old Mickelson was seen on and around campus in recent weeks, including the reported incidents in the early morninghours around 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. on Jan. 29 and Jan. 30.
It is unknown why Mickelsen was frequenting FSU’s campus.
