TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — It's sexual assault awareness month and an exhibit at Tallahassee Community College aims to bring awareness to sexual assault and physical abuse in the community.

It's called The Clothesline Project. It features shirts, decorated by students, that give a voice to those fighting against violence in our society.

Last week, TCC students were invited to decorate shirts. Now, they're hanging in the Library Courtyard.

"I don't want future generations to have to be in fear walking outside their door and thinking 'Oh I'm just going to the grocery store and get assaulted for no reason' and I have little brothers and sisters at home and it's important that they understand that this is around us," said TCC student Sarah Daniels.

Those shirts will be up through Friday, so stop by and take a look.
