CARRABELLE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating a drive-by shooting that happened Tuesday at the mayor of Carrabelle's home.
According to Sheriff A.J. "Tony" Smith, the shooting occurred in the early morning hours and was caught on home security cameras.
Smith said members of the mayor's, Brenda La Paz, family were home at the time of the shooting. None were injured.
Smith said the truck is possibly a Ford F150, late 90s or early 2000s model, dark color, extended cab.
No arrests have been made, nor have suspects been identified at this time. FCSO is asking that anyone with information about this incident call 850-670-8500.
There is a cash reward being offered for information leading to an arrest.
