TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Five years after being accused of brutally murdering two men in Tallahassee, Walter Rayborn will going to trial on June 15.

In July of 2015, in an apartment complex off Tharpe Street, police found two men burned in a bathtub and filled with bullets.

Walter Rayborn is accused of murdering Lance Love and Cornelius Poole.

According to police, Rayborn planned to rob the two men before killing them and setting their apartment on fire.

He's now being charged with two counts of first-degree murder and armed robbery with a firearm.

ABC 27 now has learned that prosecutors have asked for Rayborn to be put in a Bundy Brace when he goes to trial.

Law enforcement officials first used a Bundy Brace on serial killer Ted Bundy to restrict his movement and keep him from escaping.

According to court records, the request came after a phone call Rayborn made in October in which told the person on the phone that if things didn't go his way, he would "do something dumb in the courtroom."

Authorities have also accused Brandon Chisholm and Delynda Aguirre in connection to the crime.
