2nd Suspect Arrested in Connection to Tharpe Street Shooting

UPDATE: 3:10p.m-Tallahassee, Fla. (WTXL)--A second suspect has been arrested in connection to the July 5th shootings on West Tharpe Street.

23 year old Brandon Chisholm was taken into custody on Friday Night charged with two counts of first-degree murder and armed robbery with a firearm. Police believe Chisholm is connected to the shooting deaths of 21 year-old Cornelius Poole and 22 year-old Lance Love. 

21 Year-old Water Rayborn was arrested on July 8th on those same charges. 

On July 5th, 2015, the bodies of Lance Love and Cornelius Poole were found shot to death inside their burned apartment with their hands bound. 

Police say Walter Rayborn planned to rob both Love and Poole before killing them and setting their apartment on fire. 

No additional information regarding Chisholm's role in the shooting was released. Both Rayborn and Chisholm are being held at the Leon County Jail. 

TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A man has been arrested in connection with two men found dead in a Tallahassee apartment, according to police.

Walter Rayborn was arrested by the Tallahassee Police Department on Wednesday.

Rayborn has been charged with two counts of homicide, possession of a weapon or ammo by a convicted felon, and robbery.

Tallahassee Police say the homicide charges are in connection to the deaths of Lance Love and Cornellius Poole.

Police found their bodies early Sunday morning after crews were called out to investigate reports of smoke coming from an apartment on West Tharpe Street.
