Decatur Auto Parts finds new home after building fire

BAINBRIDGE, Fla. (WTXL) - — Decatur Auto Parts has found a new home.

After their building was a total loss due to a fire on June 7, Decatur Auto Parts has found a new home, at least for the next year or so while decisions are being made about their rebuild.

Within the next few weeks Decatur Auto Parts will reopen at it’s new location at 1038 South West Street or most residents know it as, the old Henderson’s Grocery.


Firefighters spent most of Sunday evening working to put out flames at Decatur Auto Parts.

The fire chief said the building was in engulfed in flames when crews arrived. The building is now a total loss.

Bainbridge Public Safety is asking for people to stay clear of Broad Street near Calhoun for the time being.
