TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tallahassee International Airport keeps reaching new heights when it comes to how many people fly in and out of there.
Wednesday night, the city is looking over a master plan at TLH.
More people are using Tallahassee International Airport, so the airport is thinking bigger. That means expanding the terminal and adding more parking.
The city plans to build a new rental car facility and a parking garage. When the terminal expands, that means more gates and a bigger concourse, baggage claim and ticket lobby.
The city is still working on a customs facility for international passengers, too.
The airport's short-term goals cost $70 million. The long-term goals go up to the year 2035 and cost up to $170 million.
