TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Florida A&M University and Dream Marketing Group are using this week to give the community a taste of how Black-owned businesses are thriving in Tallahassee.

On Thursday, FAMU students are highlighting the one-of-a-kind shop in Tallahassee where you can eat a cheesecake snowball.

At Sneauxballs you can find Louisiana-style snowballs. The owner calls it an honor to be a part of it.

"It's awesome," said Sneauxballs owner Jarrett Maloy. "It was really just a collaboration that's really been alive. I'm just bringing awareness to people that, one, haven't been to some of these local businesses that would definitely enjoy them. And just being a community figure for people to see that things are possible when you step out with faith and do the right thing."

The dessert shop also celebrated the week with a buy one get one free happy hour Thursday.
