TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The store manager of a local Dunkin Donuts was arrested after being accused of stealing more than $300 from the store she managed.
Cinderella Snyder, 56, was arrested by the Leon County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday.
The owners of the Dunkin Donuts on Thomasville Road suspected their store manager, Synder, of stealing from the store.
One of the owners reviewed the surveillance footage and saw Snyder had been systematically entering a sale on the register, putting meals into the computer as free if the individual was paying cash.
The owner noticed Snyder then places the cash in her pocket while the customer thinks they paid for their meal.
The owner has gone as far back as Aug.1 and has accounted for about $340 that he is out due to Snyder's theft.
He suspects that the amount will increase, but wanted to stop the theft as soon as possible.
Deputies watched a few of the transactions and it clearly showed Snyder enter the items and place the money in her pocket.
Snyder didn't want to provide a statement to deputies and is being charged with grand theft of $300 or more but less than $5,000 and fraudulently obtaining property communication for $300 or more.
She was taken to the Leon County Detention Facility but has since bonded out.
