TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - This week is Literacy Week and one cafe is making the week exciting for cat lovers.

WTXL ABC 27's Jada Williams was live Wednesday morning to tell how cats and reading are coming together to promote literacy week.

You can stop by Fat Cat Cafe in Tallahassee to read to the cats, and then after that have some cuddle time with them.

Fat Cat Cafe is exactly what the name suggests, a cafe for cat lovers.

Anyone 17 and under can spend 20 minutes reading to the cats in the cuddle room and then 10 minutes snuggled up with the kitties.

Wdnesday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. and Thursday from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. you can stop by.

Friday and Saturday hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The cafe is on 2901 East Park Avenue.

Walk Ins are welcome but pre-registration is encouraged.
