TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A man is on the run after he attempted to steal $600 worth of merchandise from the Walmart on Mahan Drive.

The Leon County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying and locating the man.

The pictures of the suspect were taken from surveillance video at the Walmart on December 6.

Deputies say the suspect got away while store authorities attempted to detain him.

He took off in a dark-colored truck, leaving behind the shopping cart full of merchandise in the parking lot.

If you know who this is, or have any information, you're asked to contact the Leon County Sheriff Office at (850) 606-3300.
