TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Jury selection continues Tuesday for the trial of Henry Segura accused in the 2010 murders of his ex girlfriend and her three children, including his own son.

Only a dozen will serve on the jury, but there's a process to get there and as expected, it's taking some time.

Yesterday's questioning went until 7:30 Monday night, and there are still several more jurors to interview.

The first group of 50 was narrowed down to less than 20 this morning. The defense asking some serious questions about family history, gun rights, infidelity and drug use.

They were also asked about their views on law enforcement and whether the criminal justice system is fair or not.

Group two was brought in Tuesday afternoon, going through the same process as before narrowing the field based on what they know about the case and if they can commit to serving for the whole trial.

Jury selection will enter its third day Wednesday and we're still waiting to learn more about James Santos. The former gang member was to have a mental health evaluation to determine if he's competent to testify.

He's the former gang member who admitted last week to setting up all four murders.

The court said it would summon 200 jurors to get this jury finalized. Most likely, tomorrow will be another day of sorting them out.

Opening arguments will be scheduled once jury selection is complete.
