TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston is going to spend a second day in a hearing that could determine his future at his school.
A university hearing examining whether Winston violated the school's student code of conduct is scheduled to resume Wednesday.
Tuesday's closed-door hearing adjourned after five hours. It comes roughly two years after a then-FSU student says Winston sexually assaulted her. Winston was not charged criminally after an investigation into the incident.
The hearing before a former Florida Supreme Court chief justice is closed to the public and media. It is to determine whether Winston violated any of four sections of the code of conduct - two for sexual misconduct and two for endangerment.
If the hearing officer rules against Winston sanctions range from a reprimand to expulsion.
