JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A Jackson County man is behind bars after deputies respond to a call about a possible sexual assault involving an adult and a child.
On Saturday, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office responded to a call in Grand Ridge involving 24 year old Christopher Peoples.
He was charged with sexual battery on a child under the age of 12 and false imprisonment of a child under the age of 13.
He is currently in the Jackson County jail waiting his first appearance in court.
