TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Historic Smokey Hollow Barbershop will re-open in Cascades Park on April 2.
The Grand Opening will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, April 2.
With the help of former Smokey Hollow residents and partners in the community, Blueprint has brought about the restoration of the historic Barber Shop and its return home in Smokey Hollow.
The grand opening celebrates the homecoming of the Barber Shop back to Smokey Hollow along with its legacy and importance to the community.
“The restoration of this historic building ensures its continued legacy in the community where it belongs,” said Mary Ann Lindley, Leon County Commissioner and Chairman of the Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency. “Blueprint invests in our community by utilizing sales tax resources to complete projects like these, which soon become a source of pride for our citizens.”
