VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - Georgia State Patrol reported two men dead following a head-on collision on Whitewater road in Lowndes County, Georgia.
Officials say Georgia residents Henry Dubose, 32, and John Foelker, 43, were pronounced dead following a head-on collision on Whitewater road.
According to an official report, the crash occured Thursday morning on Whitewater Road near Idlewood Drive in Lowndes County. As both vehicles approached a curve from opposite directions, officials say one of the vehicles turned too far out of his lane on a curve and drove straight into the other oncoming vehicle.
Foelker was pronounced dead on the scene while Dubose was transported to South Georgia Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Neither driver was reported to have been wearing a seat belt. Officials say no charges will be made.
