HAHIRA, GA (WTXL) - The Hahira Fire Department is expanding.
City leaders have approved funding for two more full-time firefighters. With the additional hires, there will one full-time firefighter and a part-time firefighter on duty 24 hours a day.
The department says with the new hires, they will now meet better emergency standards.
