GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL)--Law enforcement who were at the Greenwood Plantation say the call about a burglary in progress turned out to be a misunderstanding.
Sheriff Harry Young says around 11:30 a.m. they got the call, but it turns out it was a man out and about taking pictures of nature.
The sheriff says they were talking to plantation employees to try to decipher what exactly happened. The sheriff said the man, who is from California, didn't have anything stolen from the property inside the vehicle, and the California plates he had were extra vehicle tags.
He says the man turned on a dirt road when a someone from the property told him he would shoot if he didn't leave.
