TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) - Florida Governor Rick Scott signs a Bill Monday, intended to help college students have access to an affordable education.
The Bill will ensure the costs of text books and course materials will be publicly available to students ahead of class registration, so they can factor that information when they're picking courses. It also requires colleges and universities to adopt policies that will make textbooks more affordable.
The Bill signing took place at Florida Atlantic University.
