Governor Rick Scott appoints three to the Florida Humanities Council

Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointments of Michael Cavendish and Glenda Walters and the reappointment of Steven Seibert to the Florida Humanities Council.

Cavendish, 41, of Jacksonville, is a partner with Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart, P.A. He succeeds Jay Hess and is appointed for a term beginning March 11, 2013, and ending November 13, 2014.

Walters, 70, of Lynn Haven, is an adjunct professor at Gulf Coast Community College. She succeeds Carol Alexander and is appointed for a term beginning March 11, 2013, and ending November 13, 2014.

Seibert, 57, of Tallahassee, is the founder of The Seibert Law Firm. He is reappointed for a term beginning March 11, 2013, and ending November 13, 2014.
