TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis wasn’t the only one sworn into office earlier Tuesday.
His cabinet was as well.
Those members include Lt. Gov. Jeannette Nunez, Attorney General Ashley Moody, Chief Finance Officer Jimmy Patronis and Commissioner of Agriculture Nikki Fried.
Floridians packed the Florida Historic Capital to watch Gov. DeSantis take the oath of of office.
DeSantis spoke about education reform, the environment and the economy among many other things.
A few spectators took to the intersection on Monroe Street and Apalachee Parkway in support and opposition.
